Due to rapid growth in healthcare services, expansion of specialist medical care, and investment in modern medical technology, the hospital has grown into a fully equipped Zonal Referral Hospital.
Today, the hospital stands among the leading healthcare institutions in the Lake Zone and Tanzania at large, offering specialized and super-specialized medical services.
